Payton is entering her 2nd season of coaching at Team Indiana! She was the 14.4’s Assistant Coach last season and this season will be the Head Coach for the 14.3’s. She has a great passion for watching, coaching and playing volleyball.
Payton has played volleyball since age 13. She was offered a scholarship to play for Augustana College, but during her senior year in high school, she suffered a couple injuries and decided to put away her (competitive) knee pads. She pursued a degree in Marketing and Fashion Merchandising at Ball State University, where she graduated in the Spring of 2016.
Outside of coaching, Payton is an Account Manager for Hilti and recently has gotten involved in the wedding/event planning business. Her hobbies are designing apparel and baking, but her true passion is for animals. She spends some of her free time as a volunteer dog walker for the Hamilton County Humane Society. She currently has 5 fur-babies herself.
