Mike is entering his first season at Team Indiana after spending the past 2 seasons coaching at Circle City.
Before moving to Indianapolis in November 2018, Mike worked as the Recruiting Coordinator at Elite Volleyball Training Center in Columbus, OH. At Elite, Mike coached in a number of different capacities, including camps, clinics, lessons and teams.
Prior to his time in Columbus, Mike coached collegiately for 10 seasons. He started his college coaching journey at Lourdes University in Sylvania, OH, where he helped lead both the Men’s and Women’s volleyball teams to the NAIA National Tournament during the 2013-2014 school year. He then moved onto Division 1 Oral Roberts University, where he helped lead the team to the conference tournament in 2014 and 2015. Mike also has experience coaching beach and indoor volleyball at Eckerd College, which competes in NCAA Division 2.
As a player, Mike was a 2 time All-State selection at Walsh Jesuit High School in Cuyahoga Falls, OH. He attended the University of Toledo, where he played on the club volleyball team. Most recently, Mike could be found playing both indoor and beach at the Open level.
Mike resides in Indianapolis with his wife, Lindsey, who is the Head Volleyball Coach at IUPUI.
