Erica has been active as a player or coach in club volleyball since 1992. While playing for Circle City Volleyball Club for six years she was a member of two third place 18 Open division teams, along with winning numerous national qualifiers. She has been coaching club volleyball for the past 17 years.
Erica has been the assistant coach of our Elite 15-1’s team for the last two years. She was the head coach for four years, prior to that. While at Team Indiana, Erica has coached top level elite teams in the 13’s, 15’s and 17’s age groups. Erica’s teams have earned a 3rd and three 5th place finishes at AAU Nationals in the Open Level. Erica’s previous high school coaching experience includes three years as the Varsity Assistant coach at Carmel High School (2010-13) and two years as Varsity Head Coach at Southport High School (2002-3).
Erica graduated from Lafayette Jefferson High School in 1998. She was an two year All-Conference selection, team co-MVP and helped Jeff to a final four appearance in both her sophomore and senior seasons. Erica then accepted a Division I scholarship to IUPUI. She helped lead the Jaguars to the Mid-Continent Conference championship her junior year. She served as team co-captain as a senior and was also honored as the first recipient of the Mid-Continent Defensive Specialist of the Year award.
