Coach Brian Murray will begin his 17th season at Team Indiana and 30th season coaching club volleyball in Indianapolis. In addition to being an Owner and the Club Director, Brian will head the 15-1 Elite team this season.

In 13 seasons as Circle City’s 141 coach, Brian’s teams had numerous Top 5 and Top 10 finishes at the USAV National Championships. His 141 teams won multiple National Qualifiers in the 14 Open division.

In addition to coaching club volleyball, Brian has coached IHSAA High School teams at Martinsville, Plainfield and Brebeuf Jesuit. During his years as a High School coach, Brian lead teams to 4 State titles, 6 Championship appearances, 9 trips to the IHSAA Final Four and 4 Marion County tournament titles. Brian is a 5 time IHSAA State Coach of the Year. He has earned Indianapolis Super Team Coach of the year honors on four occasions. Brian’s high school teams have finished three seasons ranked Top 10 in the country; finishing third in the Nation in 2005.

Brian graduated from Indiana University where he was a member of the Men’s Volleyball program. He has been a club volleyball coach since entering college and is one of the premier volleyball development coaches in the nation. Brian is married to Becky, who also coaches at TI. The Murrays have a son who is 15 years old and a sophomore at LN. Logan is a member of the FC Pride ’04 ECNL soccer team and the LN Varsity soccer team.
