Abby Michalski moved to Indianapolis after her second season as the Palm Beach Atlantic women’s volleyball assistant coach in 2018 and 2019. Michalski (formerly Shelton) was formerly a graduate assistant at Cedarville for the 2017 season after a decorated four-year playing career with the Yellow Jackets. During her time on the court Cedarville won three G-MAC championships and clinched their berth into the NCAA Division II Midwest Regional for the first time in program history during the 2016 season. She was an All-American, conference player of the year, nominated at a NCAA woman of the year and the collegiate achievement award winner for the G-MAC conference.
Michalski played as an outside hitter at Cedarville. She racked up 1,342 kills during her career while adding 931 digs and 161 total blocks.
